- Decide on the hand/bath towel change. If you put your hand/bath towel on the floor, it will be replaced with a fresh one.
- Did you know that 20-30 litres of water are needed to wash a towel set (hand + bath towel)? Not to speak of detergent (even if biodegradable)...
- Please avoid leaving lights, TVs etc. on unnecessarily.
- Do not use disposable plastic bottles or fill them up with our free spring water.
- Use public transport. With the MeranCard, our guests can use these free of charge throughout South Tyrol. The bus stop is located at the entrance to the Jägerhof (70m from the hotel)

- 100% pure mountain spring water from our own water source below the Jaufenpass mountain pass. Regular quality inspection by the sanitary authority.
- Water is one of our most precious commodities, please help us to use this vital resource sparingly.
- We use as much food as possible from the region, some of it from small farmers/producers and even from our own production.
- Untreated products as well as short delivery routes, species and type-appropriate husbandry and production are important to us. Our producers should be able to live from their conscientious and good work so that the cycle of our sustainable activities is closed.
- Honest cuisine! Seasonal products without flavour enhancers, preservatives, or unnatural binders.
- We consistently separate our waste into compostable organic matter, paper, glass, metal, plastics and hazardous waste.
- We use reusable packaging and eliminate 100% of unnecessary small packaging.
- We use only certified, gentle detergents and cleaning agents throughout the house.
- Where possible, we use energy-saving lamps.
- You decide yourself about the change of towels.
